I’m a Libra so it’s natural that I’m half tomboy and half girly-girl.
Normally, I can’t be bothered with hair and make up otherwise I’d be reapplying it 3-5x during the day (with my fitness routine), but when I go out, I love getting dolled up. For someone who very rarely wears make up, I am ashamed to admit that I am a VIB Rouge at Sephora. The past few years, the majority of my shopping hauls were fitness and bike related but I’m completely satisfied with my bike and have no closet space for new gear, so unfortunately I’ve reverted back to frivolous spending on shoes, clothes and make up.
I have to admit, I’m not adventurous when it comes to beauty products. I know what works for me and am hesitant to try on new products. I’ve been using many of these for over 10 years such as the Mac Fluidline— Bobby Brown does NOT compare and I never had a pot dry out (close the damn lid, ladies!!). The other day, I bought an entire bag of 25+ empty Fluidline containers that I found back to MAC to trade in for free lipsticks. Yay for recycling.
I actually prefer to be minimal during the day because I hate having product on my face but my daily beauty must-haves are eyeliner and some color on my lips. Lip liner is a must!! Coconut oil is something everyone needs to have in their household. I use it for everything from taking off make up, washing my face (although it’s important to find an oil that works for you), moisturizing skin/hair/nails and of course cooking but *make sure you buy cold-pressed, organic coconut oil.
