I workout for aesthetics, not athletics.
I don’t care about hitting PR’s or lifting heavier weights.
In fact, I’ve barely progressed in weights for the last two years.
Guess what? I don’t care.
I workout to maintain my figure.
I workout to look good…
it is something I’ve always shamelessly admitted.
When I look good, I am more confident.
When I am confident, I am happier.
When I am happier, I am more productive.
When I am more productive, I make more money.
When I make more money, I can do more of what I love.
Traveling, hanging out with friends, nurturing relationships, eating good food…
I seem to have more free time because I have less things to worry about.
When you have the freedom to do what you want, life suddenly becomes much more fulfilling.
Did you see how the simple act of treating your body like a temple cascades to all aspects of your life?
On airplanes, they always tell you to put the oxygen mask on yourself before helping someone else.
Think about it: How can you help someone else if you don’t take care of yourself first?
When you are taking care of yourself, you become a noticeably happier and positive person.
Positive energy attracts positive energy.
It is simply the laws of attraction.
You will in turn will be surrounded by the people you want to be around.
People you look up to. People who will only lift you higher.
“Too fab for your negativity!” You say to everyone else.
It all comes down to happiness.
… But without physical well-being, you don’t have a body to be happy in.
