Free Yourself

A couple weeks ago as I was riding my bike, I suddenly decided I don’t want to live a normal and stagnant life.

The past 5 months of my life involved major changes, eye-opening learning experience and lots of new adventures. In the past 3 months alone, I’ve come to so much spiritual and psychological realization and enlightenment— I feel like a completely new person, almost relieved at my new views and insights, which has been making my everyday life more pleasant and fulfilling. I’ve never been so much happier and in control of my destiny. We should all be grateful that we are blessed with something so amazing as being able to LIVE. I know I am… the feeling of gratitude is sometimes overwhelming but in an extremely good way. I feel I have lived more in the past year than I’ve had in the 27 years of my existence!

It’s impossible to fully live without experiencing and doing as much as you can.

Which means saying yes to everything, being unafraid, non-judgmental and seeing the beauty in everything. We all need to get out and free ourselves from conventional mindsets— false beliefs and values we absent-mindedly inherit from society that affects the way we think, behave and react. Expand your mind and don’t be afraid to accept things that are unconventional, frowned upon (because it’s not the norm) and just plain different— within law and reason of course. Be a free-thinker!
CHALLENGE THE ORDINARY.
Fuck what everyone thinks but at the same time, keep your good friends close and let more positive people into your life despite differences in background and interests. Surround yourself with people who only lift you up and those you look up to. Accept that you will have people around you that won’t agree with your views but don’t be judgmental yourself— rid yourself of all the negative energy, unmotivated and unhappy people who have nothing to do but complain, talk about others and feel bad about themselves. We should be viewing life as living in dimensions where we must accept the fact that it is alright to let go of the past (things, memories, people) and immortalize it as a chapter gone by with no regrets— just a great learning experience.

Free yourself physically, psychologically and spiritually.

Never ever settle, always know your worth and most importantly, love yourself and do what makes you happy.

I’ve been inspired by new philosophies and gifted with unique insights from some amazing souls I’ve been blessed to meet. I have long ways to go but I’ve experienced so much already and can’t wait for all the adventures ahead! The world is my oyster and anything is possible.

It’s true. If you change your mindset, you can change your life.

There is no passion to be found in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living. – Nelson Mandela
