Ever wanted to go down the rabbit hole and step into Wonderland? There’s an amazing Alice in Wonderland themed restaurant in Tokyo, where you can do just that!

Designed by Fantastic Design Works Co. and obviously inspired by Lewis Carroll’s 1865 creation, you can get lost in all your childhood Wonderland fantasies, as you finally get to attend the Mad Hatter’s bizarre and fantastical tea party! You have the choice of eating with the masses on playing card tables or entertain your group in the Glass Room or the Fantasy Forest, while being served by Alice herself (or rather, a waitress in a costume). Nibbling on Cheshire Cat Tail pizza and Tweedle Dee and Dum parfaits, you can get lost in your imagination for hours here!

A couple of days ago, the Kindle Fire was announced, which means I’ve officially ordered my first tablet! I was really tempted to buy an iPad but I work in front of a computer all day, am on my Blackberry 24/7 and is in love my Macbook Pro… what would I need a tablet for? My only iPad experience (other than the Veggie Samurai wars in Whistler last year) was my parents’ iPad a couple months after they bought it; I went on it for 5 minutes and didn’t know what to do with it. I already checked my Twitter feed on my Blackberry!

So I managed to resist materialistic temptations for an entire year.

I WAS about to get a simple e-book reader for vacations though, so for the $199 price tag of the Fire— Cloud storage, ebooks, color touch-screen… why not?

What’s your favorite tablet and why?

The other night, we all had cravings for DUCK HEAD (and other greasy Chinese food) so we went for a late dinner at a little tucked-away Chinese restaurant. We usually only eat at these joints after a night of clubbing when we are all drunk and don’t care what we put in our bodies, so we kept on having the urge to order beer— it was drinking food after all. It was only Thursday though so we decided to be good.

Clams, snails, duck head (what we came for), pig intestines, hot and sour soup… my hands were too dirty after that to take anymore pictures of dishes that came afterwards. No manners required… we savagely ate the duck head.

I feel like we should be drinking right now…
