It was also the beginning of the end of my blog when I rediscovered K-Pop which took over my life.

I’ve also been working on a soccer development team the past year at work and I’ve learnt SOME things about it. My interest in it hasn’t gone up (again, to Boyfriend’s dismay) but I do love watching funny soccer videos on Youtube. I also try to call it football now because one of the producers is so insistent on it (he’s obviously European).

2009 was an okay blogging year for me because I had MANY blocks and distractions even with 50+ drafts sitting on my dashboard. Frankly, 2008 was 10x better but hopefully I’ll do better next year.

I made 11 New Years resolution for 2008 and I’m proud to say that I kept 7 of them!! Can you guess which ones?

Other commitments I tried to make this past year was to watch and learn football and also learn how to golf but they never happened. You would think working on Madden NFL 08 for 9 months, a slight interest in football would spark up but to Boyfriend’s disappointment, that never happened— not even a tiny bit. Now let’s see what I can say about soccer next year.

Anyway, I was suppose to be at H‘s birthday today but I’ve had this cold for 3 weeks not and I’m lazy so I decided to stay home on a Saturday night… best decision I’ve made because I got soo much done today. Too bad I’m feeling too lazy sitting in front of the computer now because I’m just about to head out to the gym and finish my book. I discovered if I read while doing cardio, time passes by sooo much faster… as retarded as I may look, carrying a 1300 paged book with me around at the gym.

There are still a gazillion bugs and other things that I’ll be fixing over the next couple of days and I still have to validate my code and clean up my stylesheet because it’s a total mess right now. I just got impatient and wanted to release the theme because I’ve been slaving away at it for the past week when I could’ve been reading The Heritage of Shannara. Also, I know it’s totally not IE-compatible at the moment but I’m too tired to fix it tonight. I hate IE and wonder why people still use it. :@ If anyone wants to help me, that’ll be lovely because I think all my coding knowledge just died after seeing my website in Internet Explorer.

This time I decided to go with a big font because it’s easier to read. I wanted to go up to 18pt too just for that extra drama but I left it at a measly 11pt. What do you guys think? Should I go even bigger? I left my footer at 9pt thought because I like it being nice and compact. I was also going to do a three-columned theme but the huge font size made everything look too cluttered.

Stuff I still need to do:

• Make the menu text bigger and stand out more
• Change the text color of my Twitter feed which I’m having a hard time doing because my stylesheet won’t listen to me.
• Fix the library.
• Reposition a bunch of stuff.
• IE compatible. *shudder
• etc. etc. etc.

The story behind the header image: I know the images seems like it’s out of nowhere but I have a collection of beautiful Dior Haute Couture runway pictures that I’ve been wanting to use for my layouts. So far this is only my third one.

Now let me go sulk over that painful cankersore in my mouth that definitely won’t heal by tonight (Halloween).

Why? I finally upgraded WordPress to 2.6.1! I never did it before because I didn’t want Post Levels to break … and it didn’t! It doesn’t work in 2.4, 2.5 or 2.6 but I guess 2.6.1 somehow fixed it (yes I was still using 2.3.1)! Yay. But anyway, I also really wanted to use the Register Plus plugin and I was sick of making newly registered members fill out a questionnaire before I approve their account. Most importantly, I was losing track of users on here and forgot who half of them are.

Most of my blog topics just come to me out of nowhere and in the weirdest places, usually when I’m not in front of the computer so I take notes on my cellphone and try to write about it later. You can ask Boyfriend how many times I’ve said to him, “Ooh I’m gonna blog about this!!” But yeah, if you read one of my posts containing mostly what I’ve done in the previous days in an extremely boring manner, then I’m having one of my “bad days.”

As you can tell, today is another one of my bad days. Sigh.

Anyway, a couple of days ago, a friend called me just to tell me a poem they read on a wall of an outhouse that they found extremely amusing (oh, how I love my friends):
