“I have no time to workout.”
We’ve all heard it before and it’s the lamest excuse in the book. There are people out there in university full-time, have 2 jobs and other commitments and still have time to exercise.
To make it a lot worse, Thanksgiving long weekend will officially start in a couple hours— multiple dinners and lots of partying which means Tuesday is going to be filled with lazy people going, “OMG I FEEL SO FAT. I HATE MY LIFE” on my Twitter and Facebook feeds.
Well guess what, you don’t have a right to complain about gaining weight if you’re not going to try make a commitment. If you have time to eat and attend those dinners or even head to the club for a long weekend party, you have time to exercise.
- MAKE IT A PRIORITY. It shouldn’t be optional, it should be something you must do.
- BREAK IT UP. Your workout doesn’t have to be one hour long session. Spread it out throughout the day with multiple sessions.
- SHORT & INTENSE. Why spend 40 minutes jogging at a steady pace when you can do 20 minutes of HIIT and burn even more fat?
- COMPOUND EXERCISES. Do exercises that target more than one muscle group.
There’s no such thing as “no time” because YOU MAKE THE TIME.
