HI THERE, IS THERE SOMETHING SPECIFIC YOU'D LIKE TO READ?

Start Your Day Motivated

The thought of waking up is dreadful but once I’m up, I’m happy, optimistic and motivated. I love the start of a new month, I love, love, LOVE Mondays because it’s the start of a new week (surprisingly, I usually dread Fridays) , and I love the start of every single day. Sure, shit happens throughout the day which may bring you down but nothing beats waking up and ready to take the world by storm.

Inspire

The reason I wake up ready to face the world is because every night before I sleep, I’d do something I enjoy that also inspires me. For example, I’d clear my RSS feed that night, taking the time to go through all my fitness and health blogs, all the beautiful design design blogs and my favorite personal blogs. I live for fitness and design so this almost backfires because I go to bed, almost too excited to sleep because I can’t stop thinking about my plans for tomorrow.

End your day with something inspirational, and wake up feeling even more motivated.

Your Workout Buddy…

Workout Buddies

  • Shouldn’t be a quitter.
  • Should always push themselves as hard as you do.
  • Shouldn’t be lazy, unmotivated and constantly complaining.
  • Should come up with ideas like doing 20 floors of stairs AFTER an intense workout to “cool-down.”
  • Shouldn’t be someone’s whose all talk about fitness but doesn’t show it at the gym.
  • Should come up with more ideas like doing lines across the length of a soccer field… 5 times … after an intense workout. And to end it with 2 more laps around the field.
  • Shouldn’t come up with excuses to skip workouts with you because they are “too busy” or “too tired.”
  • Should motivate you and push you to be the best you can be.

I am NOT weak.

Call me crazy but whenever I start getting tired, or feel like I want to give up, I scream at myself:

FUCK YOU, I’M NOT WEAK!!

My Weakness

I swear, it works.

Impossible Is Nothing

A 1 mile run to warm up, 100 Pull Ups, 200 Push Ups, 300 Squats and a 1 mile run to finish it off.

Does that sound impossible? Well it’s not.

FITNESS IS ALL MENTAL.

You only THINK you can’t but everyone can, no matter how fit or unfit they are. If you push yourself, and you tell yourself you can, you can achieve anything. You may take longer or may need to do easier variations the first time around but you’ll do better the second… and the third… the most important thing is: YOU CAN DO IT.

Impossible Is Nothing

1. Ask yourself: why are you doing this? To lose weight? To get stronger? To look hotter?

2. Then ask yourself: how bad do you want it?  Really bad? Then…

  • Push past the fatigue.
  • Push past the pain.
  • Remember: the pain is only temporary but the satisfaction of winning lasts forever.

Just don’t ever quit because only losers quit.
