Drinking Food

The other night, we all had cravings for DUCK HEAD (and other greasy Chinese food) so we went for a late dinner at a little tucked-away Chinese restaurant. We usually only eat at these joints after a night of clubbing when we are all drunk and don’t care what we put in our bodies, so we kept on having the urge to order beer— it was drinking food after all. It was only Thursday though so we decided to be good.

Cravings
Clams, snails, duck head (what we came for), pig intestines, hot and sour soup… my hands were too dirty after that to take anymore pictures of dishes that came afterwards. No manners required… we savagely ate the duck head.

I feel like we should be drinking right now…

What are some of your favorite and unhealthy Chinese foods?

12 – Beautiful Vancouver

Remember the 30 day blog challenge that I started a year ago? I swear my procrastination isn’t always this bad.

30 Day Blog Challenge
A photograph of the town you live in.

Taken on a cycling journey around Vancouver— Sept 2011.

Over the summer, I fell in love with biking and discovered that it was the best way to explore the city. It started when I did the Ride to Conquer Cancer in June. I honestly didn’t get on a real bike until 1 week before the ride (did all my training at the gym, but that’s another story) but once I finished the ride, I didn’t want to stop biking! Next year, my plan is to invest in a road bike and start biking to work no matter how far I live, and no matter how many hills I have to climb.

Girls’ Night

A simple, little black dress with some accessories is my favorite outfit.
OOTD

I wanted to wear nude pumps but I had to keep in mind that I was spending a fun and food-filled night at Section 3 with my short little Asian girlfriends who I had no intention on towering over, especially with the fact that there would be cocktails involved. It’s alright though because I got to wear boots, which means fall is “officially” here (to me anyway)!
