HI THERE, IS THERE SOMETHING SPECIFIC YOU'D LIKE TO READ?

The Mindset

Bootcamp

HIIT

Plyometrics

600 rep workout

100 burpees!

People immediately hate their trainers when they say those words because they’re afraid. They’re afraid their bodies won’t be able to handle it. They’re afraid of what other people might think of them if they can’t finish.

I believe in you.

I promise if you stay consistent with your training and you keep on increasing your fitness level, hearing those words will excite you. You would think, “wow, I can actually do this!” and push yourself even harder. You would literally dream of the gym and trying new and more intense workouts. You should be excited about going to the gym, not dreading it.

When I think of 600 rep workouts, tabatas and HIIT, I get super pumped… I can never wait to get to the gym so I can get started! If I was unfit, I would probably hate those words too but I trained myself so I know I can handle it. Plus the reward when you finish is better than anything!

Everyone needs to get in this mindset.

I definitely agree! I think that you’ve got to truly push yourself to be motivated and to stay on top of your game! Working out is also a lifestyle and not some quick fix.

I wish you would post less about fitness and more about the random stuff you used to do.

    Dear Ex-Loyal Reader,

Fitness, work and school are my only priorities and interests right now and the only things I really have time for. I can’t really be blogging about fashion, make-up and other things I use to randomly write about when those things are so far in the back of my mind but I’ll try to if I can. :)

Working out SUCKS when you haven’t in awhile, and when your body isn’t where you want it. When you’re in shape it is awesome and rewarding and you feel like you’re continuing your hotness, but when you’re frumpy to start it feels pointless… I get that. You’re right though, you have to motivate yourself. I love watching those fat people makeover shows where they cry and whine and make excuses through their training. This is why being thin and fit is so coveted in our society – Most people will do anything to avoid putting in the work.

That was me about a month ago, I was so afraid of getting started once again and having to pushing myself at the gym, but then I realised how much I enjoyed working out. Now I literally can’t wait to go to the gym and push myself every time, as I know I CAN do it. It’s also nice to see results from doing so aswell.

I’m a new reader of your blog, which is amazing! Going through your fitness/nutrition entries have really helped me out and given me more inspiration for my own fitness goals. I look forward to reading more in the future. :)

Those words get me pumped! I’ll worry about possibly not making it through the workout once I’m there, but at least I’m THERE.

This is definitely the mindset I am aiming for. I finally found a workout that I enjoy b/c up until recently, i dreaded the thought of working out b/c it was more of a chore for me. Keep at it!

I completely agree. When I first started running, it was all I could do to get through 1 whole mile. Now, I see a 10 mile run on my schedule and smile because I know it’s simply a “rest/recovery” week. Ten miles is NOTHING!!
