Another year flew by with all ups and no downs— I can’t think of anything too bad about 2010 but that kind of worries me because how can 2011 be any better? We shall see.
Here are my favorites from this year:
Book: This is sooo hard since I read so many good books this year but it’s a tie between the Axis series by Sara Douglass and The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins even though they are in completely different leagues of their own.
Movie: Um, did I even watch any movies this year? I haven’t even seen Inception yet. Shut up.
TV Show: Tie between: Real Housewives of Beverly Hills; best show from the entire franchise— everything is bigger, better and more dramatic. And also, THE WALKING DEAD!! I loved this show and can’t believe I need to wait another year for a second season.
Korean Drama: QUEEN SEON DEOK hands down. It was filmed in 2009 but I watched it this year and I can’t wait until it’s not so fresh in my mind so I can re-watch all 62 episodes.
BEST FOOD: 2010 was all about poutine!! NOM.
Song: Can’t believe I’m choosing a top 40 hit but Edward Maya’s Stereo Love.
Blog: Clients From Hell kept me entertained everyday.
Past time: Working out. Looked forward to hitting the gym hard and making myself feel like death every single day this year. Can’t wait for 2011 where I swear I will be lean again (I let myself slack in December and gym time was taken over by snowboarding— and unfortunately a lot of eating).
Exercise: THE PLANK! I don’t mean to brag but I’m the master of holding a plank even though it’s the most boring exercise ever. Next year will be better as I’m going to make it biking.
Happy new year, everyone!

I haven’t watched a K-drama in a while! The last one I remember watching is Boys Overs Flowers (totally loved it!) I will definitely try to look up the one you mentioned. It looks more about ancient times? (totally judging from the wiki picture lol)

I still haven’t seen the Real Housewives of Beverley Hills yet, but I’ll take your word for it and see what I’ve been missing. And props on conquering the plank! At least you must have crazy abs from that right? All that workout on the core pays off =)

I haven’t seen Inception yet either and my God my friends will not shut up. Movies are expensive, folks. I have to wait for it on Netflix!

Yes Walking Dead is so good! I just started watching and me & the bf are hooked, although I refuse to watch it in the dark, late at night b/c I’m a chicken like that. Do you watch True Blood too? HNY!

I think it may have been your blog that introduced me to The Hunger Games, if it was, I must thank you! I totally devoured them, definitely amongst my favourite reads of 2010!

OOoo. The costumes look quite gorgeous for the K-drama! And anytime I need motivation to go to the gym, I read your blog, lol.

My roommate was completely into The Hunger Games. The story reminds me of Battle Royale though.
Haha, I love “accidentally” watching those housewives show when there’s nothing to do.

What website do you watch the K-Dramas on??
Thanks!!

Hunger Games also made it to my top list of 2010, but just the first book. I really can’t get over the fail party of the third book =(
I really want to watch Walking Dead but I really really want to read the comics first. And since I don’t have any TV, it looks like I’ll have to wait a while for it to become available on Netflix.

Happy New Year, Katy!

So mad at myself. Still haven’t read Hunger Games yet. I need to get on that!! Best of luck on your cycling endeavor. Husband bought us new road bikes this past fall and I can’t wait for spring to roll around so I can start riding again!

I loved The Walking Dead as well! We followed it since the beginning and it was awesome. I’m anxiously awaiting the next season as well. And no worries, I haven’t seen Inception yet either, haha.
