01: My Foods and I
30 Day Blog Challenge
A photo of yourself and a description of how your day was.

All gross and sweaty in the studio after my workout. Work was less stressful than last week, workout was a fun sweat-fest and then came home to NOT having to cook dinner (the best part)! The sister has so much free time this summer that I just give her my credit card and she does all the grocery shopping while I’m at work. Our house is stocked with fresh and healthy food and she even cooked honey-soy glazed salmon, yam fries and kale chips tonight. Life is good.
Now, I wish someone would give me THEIR credit card.
Speaking about groceries, here is what my kitchen ALWAYS has to be stocked up on:
- giant bag of baby spinach (pre-washed)
- egg whites
- skim milk
- bananas
- plain oatmeal
- canned tuna
- bags of frozen cauliflower in the freezer (one of my favorite veggies)
- frozen berries
…and then everything else depends on what’s in season (especially fruit— LOTS of it) and the protein depends on my mood.
What do you always have to have in your kitchen?

I always make sure my kitchen is stocked up with:
-Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream
-Orange Juice (simply orange)
-Eggs
-Bacon
-Rice
-Crown Royal
I just need these to survive, otherwise i eat out way too much. Thinking it over, i should really learn to cook more, I’ll never make a decent housewife if i can’t cook. And eat more fruits. Yes. That’s what i should do. eat more fruits…

Depends on my mood but you can put anything and everything in it: fresh/frozen berries, honey, skim milk, condensed milk, cottage cheese, yogurt, granola, nuts, dried fruits, etc. You can even cook a little bit of egg whites, salt and bit of hot water to have a savory, porridge-like oatmeal.

The plug-i is called Now-Reading:

Are my images broken when you visit the library? They always seem to be breaking now so I think I might need to take it down soon or switch to something simpler like Good Reads. I just like the plug-in because I can customize it however I want.

Great way to kick off your 30 day challenge.
my kitchen is stoked up with spinach too, and carrots, fruits, vanilla soy milk and now I’ve been enjoying chicken boobs so we buy the precooked/grilled and packaged chicken breast from costco.
But I’ll be honest, the kitchen is also full of chips, candies, chocolates, vino, and baked goods thanks to the roommate who brings home her mom’s home baked cookies and pies all the damn time. Makes it so hard to stay healthy.

Don’t worry, I have a lot of unhealthy foods that that 24-pack of ice cream sandwiches I bought a couple days ago and are almost ALL gone. I need to pick up another box this weekend.

How do you still look so cute after a workout?!
My dorm room is always stocked up with milk, cereal, fruit, and lemonade. My kitchen at home is a microcosm of a grocery store… right now, I’m into pizza rolls, chips and salsa, chai (that I mix with milk), orangeade, clementines, and nectarines.
