I Miss Vancouver

I can’t wait to feel the Vancouver rain after all this heat.
I can’t wait to hit the gym.
I miss oatmeal and can’t wait to eat it everyday for breakfast again.
…And egg whites with green onion and soy sauce.
I can’t wait to get rid of this 20in layer of fat that has accumulated the past month
(although with no regrets). I’m gross and squishy all over but looking forward to the challenge.
I can’t wait to regain my strength.
I can’t wait to be able to do a 600 rep workout effortlessly again.

I can’t wait to eat a Monty Mushroom burger from White Spot.
I can’t wait to go camping.
I can’t wait to have dim sum with po-po.
I miss our super comfy king-sized bed.
I miss my HDMI cable.
I miss all my books I left at home that I wanted to read but couldn’t bring with me.

I can’t wait see see MOCHI (whom I missed the most)!!
I can’t wait to have girls’ nights.
I can’t wait to go home!!!
Asia was fun but there’s life to get back to. The only thing I’m not looking forward to is getting up and going to work (getting up early to go shopping is an entirely different thing) and paying Vancouver prices for food and drinks (and clothes and shoes and make up and bags…). Anyway, I shall be home on Saturday afternoon!

Hee! Sometimes a long trip like this makes you realise how much you miss stuff at home . . . I’m sure if I ever visited somewhere, I’ll be like “I’m never taking Korea for granted eveeeeeeer” XD
Though, maybe I should go to the states or something. Or Japan. Then go back to Korea and be thankful for their prices LOL.
And that burger’s making me hungry. At 3:30am. Not cool! XD

Damn I was scared of that!! I hope it starts raining next week!!! 30-35 degrees weather with like 100% humidity the past 5 weeks is not fun.

No rain in Vancouver! It’s quite hot, but minus the Asia humidity.
Perfect hiking weather! Did you do any hiking when you were in Asia?

That was a super long trip Katy, I don’t blame you for missing your home. I always miss working out on vacays too–although my vacays never last longer than a week so it’s not too bad.
P.S. I’m sure Mochi missed you too!

I forgot you were still in Asia until Tara posted about your visit. I thought you had gone home after the other Asia post. It’s quite a nice length of time to travel before you start to feel homesick.

Wow, that’s a sexy burger!! I know how you feel. Vacations are always fun, but it’s nice to come home as well!

Just a warning. It has been hot as hell here in Seattle so I take it it’s the same way in Vancouver… But I’m sure you will get your long awaited rain soon.

Nothing feels like home in the end, right?:)
