- Anonymous blogging. I don’t blog about my personal life as much as I use to but I’ve jumped back into it and it’s going to be fun. Do you think I don’t write enough “personal” entries on 24C?

HK Style restaurants. I love going to Hong Kong styled cafe and restaurants. Hearty, MSG-filled Chinese comfort food in a relaxing environment where you can be as loud as you want is the best! My favorite is currently “Kings Park” in Richmond on Westminster Hwy (except their Lemon Tea sucks ass). It’s also near Tsim Chai Noodle House and Banzai Sushi… two of my favorites in Richmond.Off topic, but when my grandpa was dying in the hospital he kept requesting two things: [the best] wonton noodles from Tsim Chai Noodle House and KFC.
I’d walk to Richmond Centre to get KFC for him then sit sadly in the corner watching him eat because I always forget to buy some for myself… so my grandma would feel bad and give me a piece (grandpa’s eyesight was really bad by then). When I’m dying, I’m going to request the same plus loads of poutine. - T&T. The best supermarket in the world!!!!!!!!!!!! That’s an understatement.
- Pointless games. Like all the ones from Last Day of Work. So mindless, time consuming but so addicting! I guess 95% of games are pointless and are a waste of time though when you can be doing something better… like watching Korean dramas.
- Spending hours at the gym. Most of the time I go in, do my thing and then go home; no lingering, socializing, slacking… like it should be. Once a week (usually on a weekend), I like that I get to take my time working out and not having to worry about rushing to things afterwards (which almost always fails as I frantically rush out of the gym because I forgot about something).
- Grape Juice. My dad just bought some because I think he’s going through a grape juice phase too and I just drank out of the carton. Shhh don’t tell. I swear I’ll down the rest tomorrow.
- Jersey Shore. This is the most pointless, trashiest show ever with the ugliest and nastiest guys and girls. It’s kinda like watching Tila Tequila’s drama unfold over Twitter… their pathetic lives are our entertainment. Now all I need is some popcorn.

Katy!! Are you from WA? if yes, then i think we’re neighbors! im from OR, lol!!!
the hong kong food looks soooo gooooood!

A T&T recently opened in my city. I went there once but it was really crowded and I can’t say I’m particularly interested in the groceries they offer
Jersey Shore is like, the definition of a guilty pleasure. I think the worst thing about it is the tans! XD

YES! Jersey Shore is sooo bad, yet sooo good. Fist pump!

Hey Katy, just read your comment and I think in Bali it depends on where you go for foods or drinks. Bali is moderately cheap in general but some places ( like some you see in my pictures – Rock Bat & Kudeta ) can be pricy, for their locations I think. But a lot of places in the center of attractions like on Seminyak, Legian and Kuta streets I wrote about are pretty cheap, 4 dollars and less drink deals and also cheap food. Same like hotels, so it;s important to browse around. You know Australian tourists in Bali can stay there for a month because they somehow know how to use their money smartly? 200 dollars can mean a night stay in some hotel but 4 to 5 nights in another..:D

LOL this is why I haven’t unfollowed Tila yet. I admit I’m kinda obsessed trashing her and read about her stupid drama.
ps. I love greasy fried Asian foods

T&T is also one of my guilty pleasures. It’s huge, it’s clean, and it’s a haven of asian candies. Yummm.

Noodles and dumplings are two of my favorite foods ever. I’ve yet to find a place that has good Chinese food near my school

I am really missing the boat here with the Jersey Shore obsession – everyone I know is in love with that show – And I have honestly never seen it!!

I love HK style restaurants! It’s such a family-oriented thing (as in some of my family can speak good Cantonese, I cannot. And we all know the Cantonese get the good menu). We have a bunch around here. T&T at 12 midnight, sooo busy and it’s my mom and I’s fave time to go
! As for Jersey Shore, alllll my friends are watching it. They think it’s funny. I tried to yesterday but turned it off after one guy accused another of voyeurism while he was having sex. How nice. I guess it’s just not for me?

Oh yes, gym socialising. I think some people go to the gym just to socialize. So they go there with full on make-up and cute new sports top, and try not to get sweatty

So funny! Before I even got to the end of your post, I was thinking about my guilty pleasures and then BAM! there it was! Jersey Shore!!! It’s so like crack. Horrible in every single way and frighteningly addicting!
Oh, and I really miss the days when I could take my time at the gym. Now with a child, a husband, and a MILLION things going on in life, I feel guilty about spending more than an hour at the gym. Oh, single life…

I like how a lot of the things on your list are influenced by ME (ie. BANZAI, KINGSPARK and JERSEYSHORE) haha. Tell dad I had my first fruit in a week yesterday, I had an apple hahaha… after i ate McDonalds. Also you guys should throw away that cranberry juice i left in the fridge…it’s gross.

Wow I actually agree with most of the stuff you listed hehe.
I totally understand the whole HK style restaurants craving! When I was living in Toronto, I’d go to one at least once a week..and omg don’t get me started about T&T!! Biggest and best selection..ever! Way better than all the local supermarkets combined! Too bad it’s already the finale of Jersey Shore. It’s so addicting…esp. The Situation. Dude cracks me up!! Ughh that’s what MTV shows do to us! Getting addicted to all the crap!

What do you mean by anonymous blogging? You have another private blog, that nobody knows? Cool
I used to watch few Korean dramas myself. Which ones do you recommend? oh, and since you’re into Korea, any movies you recommend? I’d definitely recommend you Kim Ki-duk’s movies like “Bin-jip” or “Time” :-)

I loved T&T while I was still in Canada. It’s got everything!!! I also liked PAT in K-town. Not sure if you guys have it in Vancouver though.

I love T&T for the candy, but I’m so non-Chinese that I feel out of place there. haha! If my grandpa was dying and I got him KFC, he would have yelled at me for buying food with so much yeethay. Grape juice is so good – I remember in elementary, I was the only one to pick out grape juice and everyone else thought I was weird.
Jersey Shore is so bad, but so addicting.
