Random Thoughts

Food, Friends & Family, Mochi, Ramblings, Rants

  • Canucks vs. Hawks Last weekend, a friend joked that whenever the Canucks lose a game, it’s never the players’ fault. It’s always the fault of a person who didn’t (or did) wear their jersey during the game, or if someone took down their car flags, went to the washroom while the other team has a power-play, ate the last chicken wing, etc. We always need to blame someone but the players. So funny and so true. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted! GO CANUCKS GO (next season)!! :P
  • I hate dancing with other people at clubs (whether it be with guys or girls). I’m often found at the side of the group dancing by myself so I can go at my own beat and I think it looks disgustingly desperate when girls are constantly grinding up with each other.
  • When my friends and I were 12, we went to a open house with a fake German accent (we’re Asian) and tried to trick the realtor that we were going to buy the house. We really thought he believed us too.
  • It breaks my heart when blogs I use to enjoy to read suddenly turn into an outlet for ugly advertisements and paid posts. PLEASE DON’T DO THIS, MY LOVELY BLOGGERS. :(
  • I’ve been eating like crazy this past week and haven’t been going to the gym regularly because of schedule conflicts. Not the mention that my cube at work is stuffed with chips, chocolate (and all things unhealthy) and my mini-fridge is filled with sugary juices, pop, popsicles (and beer that’s not mine). But guess what? I’M GUILT-FREE! Why live when you’re going to feel guilty about what you eat? :P I LURVE FOOD.
  • What do you find when you Google “chinese honger“?

OMG. Ahahahaha I couldn’t stop laughing!!!
(Damn I should’ve photoshopped my roots out in that picture.)

  • KOREANS ARE TAKING OVER MY LIFE. You can blame them for neglecting my blog the last couple of weeks.

on the note about blog sites turned into advertise sites, it happened to one of my old sites. I had baby-girl.net long time ago, from 02 to like 04. Then I didn’t renew it any more, now it’s a domain for sale :(

Some people actually find that term offensive (especially when a non-Asian says it) but racial terms like that don’t bug me too much. I’m Chinese anyway. :P

Thank you so much for visiting me and for your kind comments.
You live in one of my most favorite places, love Vancouver. Got to get back there sometime…

My friends and I say the same thing when for college football. We blame it on whether we’re sitting in the same order in the row as the last winning game, if there’s more than one chair between the groups of friends. lol.

…and I thought we were the only ones who did that. Too funny.

AMEN re the advertisements. I don’t mind some cute or funny ones- we all need to make a dollar- but keep them neat and OUT OF YOUR WRITING.

“Koreans are taking over my life.”
That’s how I feel when my brother & his family come over. It’s so hilarious because my sister-in-law’s ways get carried on to me.

I don’t grind with other people too. Sure I dance with the girls but not grinding up and rubbing each other. That’s downright annoying :P

haha chinese honger?! lmaooo. and it really does come out on google. that’s hillarious. and gah… FOOD! I love food. I try not to indulge so much.. but you’re right .. “Why live when you’re going to feel guilty about what you eat?”. haha. Oh and dancing with other people. I don’t mind so much, as long as they aren’t groping, they are at least a certain distance away from me, and as long as they can dance. Its funny when I see two people that are dancing to the same song, but two different beats .. then they end up stepping on each other or bumping heads. :dead: and i’ve neglected my blog cause it is now blocked at work.. what the f! :bawl: .. im superr sad now.

HAhaha… whenever the canucks lose it’s not the players?? I never thought of that… but now that the flames are completely out, I don’t follow hockey anymore. Your dog is soooooo cute!!!

Yeah… they loose because us, spectators are just giving them bad luck! :P
I only watch hockey for the Canucks too. I’m not a huge sports fan but I like cheering on my own team.

Omigosh hearing Phnom Penh makes me drool every time. I’ve been trying to drag my boyfriend there the last couple of weeks except he’s not allowed to eat too much fried chicken because of his family history of high cholesterol (doctor’s orders) and he knows he can’t resist when he goes there. I’m always craving for their filet beef!!

    REPLY

Yeah I’m seriously addicted to Korean-ism!
Are you Korean? I’d subscribe too if there were subtitles.

I love Asian variety shows but I can only understand the Chinese ones. I don’t know why they don’t have as good of shows in North America like the ones in Asia… it’s a shame!

I don’t like dancing with other people either! It’s fun very sparingly, but mostly I’m not coordinated enough to do it consistently. I think I do pretty well by myself, though!

    REPLY

I actually don’t mind dancing with them too much as long as it’s not too touchy and slutty-looking.. I don’t like touching other people’s sweaty bodies in clubs. Yuck!
