Boyfriend is forcing me to go to Seattle this long weekend— yes FORCING. I didn’t want to shop but he was so insistent so I felt bad and couldn’t say no.
I have no idea what I want to buy though because I already did some major credit card damage this week BUT I managed to make a small list of things I’m hoping to get this weekend (can’t go home empty-handed!).

- Trouser suit because I absolutely LOVE Rihanna’s look at the Met ball.
Rihanna has invented a new approach to evening style.
- André Leon Talley - Black thigh-high socks (image via Dinh Dinh L on Lookbook.nu).
- Lady Gaga’s Bow Tie Headband. Lady Gaga has one, Pam got one so I want one too!!
- Brisingr by Christopher Paolini (US
/Canada
). Been patiently waiting for book 3 of The Inheritance Cycle to come out on paperback to complete my collection but I think I’m just going to pick up the hardcover because I can’t wait any longer.
- Marie-Antoinette and the Last Garden at Versailles (US
/Canada
). I’ve been eyeing this book for ages!
- Rainboots. Hopefully ones similar to Plueys (via Urbane Bloc). I don’t need them but I just want them because they’re too cute! It’s perfect for Vancouver weather even though I rarely go out in the rain because I’m either at the office or in my car.
- Statement jewelry. I found great posts in my reader from The Capitol Fashionista and Trend de la Crème with some amazing and affordable statement jewelry. I want more! Maybe I’ll try find some supplies as well because I want to start make my own.
ONLY 7?! *hangs head in shame*

I’ve always had a thing for the thigh-high’s. They had actually been rather popular over here for a good few months (a long time by Japan’s standards) but I haven’t been seeing them as often these days.

thanks so much for the shout out!

Looks like the whole world is going gaga over… Lady Gaga. I lover her ribbon hairstyle, it’s sweet that you’re getting one too
can’t wait to see how you look like. Anyway, take it that your trip to Seattle is a window shopping trip – while getting done with your small little shopping list, try to resist every attempt to summon the power of your credit card
heheh! Take care, and have a great trip!

Lol yeah I’m jumping on the trend bandwagon. I loveeee Lady Gaga’s style. She’s so daring and such a trend-setter. I haven’t seen many girls in Vancouver doing it yet so it’s all good.
Shopping trips across the border is always a killer to me… can never resist!!

Hey Katy,
Guess what?! I’m watching Boys Before Flowers right now. I stayed up until 7 am this morning watching! holy crap it’s so addictive… I’m only on episode 6!! Hehehe. <3 HOT GUYS!
omg, LOL i use to be a k-drama fanatic in jr high… I don’t even remember all the ones I’ve watched.. My absolute favorite has to be STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN !!! have you seen it?! I LOVE sad dramas. I don’t know why LOL. My dad even cried watching that! hahaha. and the Goong Series.. ^-^ Reminds me of Boys Before Flowers.. rich guy, dumb poor girl kind of story line. All-In is another good one but sorta old school.. Hehe.
I remember I tried to self-learn korean too in high school. Reading is pretty easy, they’re alphabet is easy to learn. But vocab and sentence structure was so confusing.. I gave up after learning the basic phrases! Haha. How’s the learning coming along for you?

I use to watch a lot too but I think BBF is one of my favorites right now. I also loved MY GIRL and that cooking one because the main character in it was soo adorable. I can’t remember much of the rest though which is a good thing because that means I can re-watch them!
You can read Korean? Hmm I don’t even know how to begin!? Should I be learning the alphabet first?

I hope it is.. well I’m not too picky with my books anyway. I’M SO EXCITED TO READ IT!!! I can’t believe I was able to even wait this long even though it was for nothing because I’m going to end up getting the hardcover anyway.

I don’t like to show my legs that much so I want to get them to complete some outfits. They’ll look super cute I think.
