- One Saturday night, Boyfriend and I went to 3 different restaurants in a row (with different people)!! I don’t think I’m exaggerating enough how much of a pig we both are. We went to Phnom Penh, Hennessey and then the Cactus Club down the street.
- If you guys come to Vancouver, you have to go to Phnom Penh which serves authentic Cambodian and Vietnamese food because they have the BEST chicken wings (you have no idea how many people I got hooked onto them), butter beef (kind of like beef carpaccio) and Bo Luc Lac (filet beef on rice) EVER. It’s one of my favorite Asian restaurants in Vancouver!
Some people complain that the place is a little overpriced but for me; when it comes to food, you can’t put a price on it!!

Chicken wings and Butter Beef (pictures credited to original owners).
- *Boyfriend is slipping on an ugly t-shirt that says “Hawaii” on it
Me: Ewwwww why are you wearing that?!
Him: It’s yours.Just for the record, it wasn’t mine! I found in the hall closet and I gave to Boyfriend for him to wear because he needed an old shirt for work.
- Some dude trying to diss someone else: “You came from your mom’s vagina!!” …… “Um, I guess that wasn’t much of a diss…”

OMG Boyfriend actually got me books (for someone who never reads)!! I'm currently reading Hammer of God... been waiting to read that book forever!
Check out: Amazon books.

Got my nails did at TJ Nails... totally inspired by {link:http://missxxmai.blogspot.com}Miss Mai{/link}! Excuse my retarded fingers... Boyfriend asked me why they weren't straight.

Mochi hiding in my closet. ♥ She loves my jeans as much as I do!

King Crab! Yum!

My Greek Taverna in Coquitlam has the best calamari!

Goodbye stupid QX4!! Boyfriend traded this car in so *T can buy his FX35 and I'm sooo glad he finally got rid of it! It was so useful for trips but a total gas guzzler and he rarely drove it anyway.

He's only 5 and every time we take J* to the movies, he always falls asleep but he didn't when we went to watch The Pink Panther 2. So we got him a cake to celebrate and him and his sister sang the 'Celebrate good times, come on' song with a little booty-shaking. It's a heart because we told him to choose the smallest one since there weren't too many people eating it.

Got my lolita hat from {link:http://batyoureyelashes.blogspot.com/}Miss Tia{/link}. ♥

Finally got my Strap Perfect from {link:http://stephanie-nguyen.blogspot.com/}Steph{/link}... love these!

I just had to post this picture of Boyfriend getting tea-bagged by his dodgeball team (The Tea-Baggers).

All the food pictures are making me incredibly hungry!!!
I love the dodgeball team picture

Lol I like it but I’m not THAT into Korean food actually… I just LOVE Korean seafood pancakes. MMMM. A lot of their foods are actually too spicy for me because I can’t take the heat.
*hangs head in shame*

omg the food looks sooooo yummy!!! there are no authentic vietnamese restaurants ..or greek in korea… i’m so deprived XD

The food looks delicious. It’s making me hungry already. Beautiful nails as well. I never tried to get them done. I think the design wear off pretty quickly?

They are actually acrylic nails with a black acrylic tip and the pink/silver/white is painted on with nail polish. They put a gel coating on top so it shouldn’t wear off.

One thing I love about you is how much you READ! totally inspiring, Ive been reading your recommendations and I still drool when I see new book pictures that you have. You’re right, you do read fast, almost lightning fast. I see that you like designer jeans, are there more affordable brand jeans that you would recommend?! The only ones I wear are Express and Levi’s
need more options.
Much Lovee

I love looking at stacks of other people’s books and bookshelves as well. We’re such dorks!
Designer jeans are actually pretty affordable if you get them at an outlet store like Nordstrom Rack. A pair of True Religions are about $99 there ($300 regular). They are older styles but they’re still nice… you can’t go wrong with jeans. Good luck!

Those chicken wings look soooo good. I shouldn’t be looking at pictures of food at this time of night!
Lmao, I love it when disses don’t work out.

I normally hate fake nails, but yours are gorgeous! (I don’t hate how they look, just how they feel on my hands. I feel suffocated lol.) I love your ring too.
I think you should take a pic of that lolita hat ON you. Same as those bra things – how well do those work? They kinda look buyable – let me know!
Um, I thought Mochi was a boy. Am I stupid or did you do a typo a long time ago? LOL cute either way! Maybe she can be Rufio’s long-distance girlfriend.
Quick Q: What Comments Reply plugin do you use to reply to blog comments?
Oh and wanted to tell ya, we’re thinking about doing a traditional Korean Han Jung Shik for our anniversary weekend and stuff ourselves with seven courses. I found a local Korean place I want to try… and they have seafood pancakes! They are on the Starter menu, but I’m going to see if they’ll make them my entree. =)

Thanks J! ♥
I hate how fake nails make your nail bed so weak and gross if you take it off… and I hate typing with them too because it’s so loud. Oh the things we sacrifice for beauty.
Yeah I’ll definitely take a pic with the hat on next weekend… gonna do a look with it [I hope]!
You can buy the Strap Perfect at Walgreens (so I heard). I couldn’t find them in Canada so I asked her to send them to me. Here’s the site: https://www.strapperfect.com
Lol, no Mochi is a girl! Yay I’ll let her know she has a long distance BF when I get home tonight. SO cute!
I think the latest version of WP comes with comment reply but I use this one since I haven’t updated: WordPress Thread Comment
Mmmm the Korean dinner sounds good. Seven courses?! That’s crazy… remember to take lots of pictures! Do you like spicy foods?

I just like your Comment Reply because it emails me and it’s convenient. I use Brian’s Threaded.
Yeah 7 courses… I’m not sure. It’s expensive too, and I dunno how much I can really eat in one serving, but it sounds like such a fun date. I LOVE spicy foods, and I’ll try anything. Donny hit the jackpot finding a white girl with my tastes!

OoOo yummy yummy food. Girl, you gotta take me with youuuuuuu!! lols. But seriously, you were really able to eat at 3 different restaurants all in one night? Wow!
Anyhow…I love your nails too. I wish I could have then done like that. Unfortunately, here in the Philippines, the only thing they know how to do here is a French Manicure… tsk tsk…

We actually only eat a lot at the first one and then kinda chilled out and snacked on everyone else’s appetizers at the last two. They were spread out through the night too. LOL.
You should start a nail salon in the Phillipines that does artistic stuff if there isn’t a lot there. You’ll be one of the only ones and everyone will come to you!

All your pictures are great! Love your nails….I need to get into the habit of getting mine done but I hate spending so much money sometimes and growing them out is a hassle b/c I always break them when they get to the perfect length! hehe.
Books books books! so lucky – i need to make boyfriend go get me some new books even though I haven’t even finished the fellowship of the ring yet or the name of the wind. haha.
btw – are you active on fb? add me! no i don’t bite.

Dude I’m so Facebook illiterate now because I don’t use it anymore… how do I find people? I tried searching for your email but couldn’t find it!
But yeah… I get my nails done but only keep up with it for a month or two because the salon I go to is my Boyfriend’s family’s and it’s too far for me to get a refill every 3 weeks or so (I’m just lazy) and I hate it when my nails get super weak.
What are you currently reading?

My nails are such a mess right now – I don’t even want to think about them. I really need to fix them ASAP.
Such a cute dog!!
Hmmm . . . looks like you’ve got some nice jeans too.
I am going to have to check out those books. I am always looking for something good to read.

The nails look so nice! It’s been so long since I’ve gotten my nails done. Are the prices going up? I remember it was like $40 for something like that before….it got too expensive for me to maintain so I haven’t done them in a while, but seeing yours, well, it’s making me want to get pretty gilry nails again!
..and OMG! King crab legs. You gotta love the places that cut it open length wise like that for you. So easy to eat! :]

I recently re-did a brochure for my boyfriend’s brother and sister’s nail salon and the prices definitely went up. They said the state of the economy hasn’t effected their business though so it’s still going on as usual. =P
Yeah I love eating king crab especially at Chinese restaurants. Soo good.

I bought Pillars of the Earth about a year (or two?) ago! I still haven’t had a chance to finish it, but from what I’ve read so far, AMAZING. It got a bit draggy after a few chapters, but that’s expected with thick ass novels. I should probably finish it up soon … maybe I will.
