I got muh hair did.
I know I make fun of people who take washroom pictures of themselves all the time on Facebook but it was the best lighting in my house so don’t make fun of me! It’s not like I do it often anyway. 
I decided to go all-over brown because anything else I wanted would’ve required bleach but I wanted all the old bleach to grow out first. My hair hasn’t been dark for 2 years… nor have I had bangs for 2 years so this will definitely need some time getting use to! I think it looks a lot better though because blond makes a lot of Asian complexions look really washed out. The thing with long brown hair (I’m wearing clip-on extensions) is that keeping it straight is boring so you have to curl it a little bit to make it look a little more dramatic and give it more volume. I’m a curl-virgin but my new curling iron arrived in the mail and I took advantage of last night to play with it and create some loose waves (I’m not a fan of tight spirals) and although it still needs some polishing it, I think it looks a lot better.
Guess what this Asian ghetto-ness is? I was too cheap and lazy to buy a nice jar.

As for blond hair, you’re right, blond hair on Asians tend to make us look a bit “washed out”. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVED my blond hair, but I just looked really good with it when I had makeup on.
Brown and/ black hair? Not so much. The color perfectly balances out with the complexion of our faces.

I love your hair though! It’s very sophisticated, classy and you look very pretty. I’m going to let my hair grow out and I’ll cut off the lighter ends later. For some reason, dark hair appeals to me this year.

They are side bangs.. I wasn’t gutsy enough to try straight bangs. Maybe when I grow out my hair longer. The last time I had side bangs, I got so annoyed with them that I just let it grow up to be regular layers!

Well I only had access to a curling iron with a small barrel and I’m not a fan of small or tight curls.. and because I always LOVED straight hair. I finally ordered a 2″ curling iron though so I’m loving that now.
It gives me an incentive to grow out my hair so I have real hair to curl instead of putting on my extensions all the time. Hehe.
I suggest if you’ve never dyed your hair, don’t start!! You will get addicted and your hair will just get totally fried. If you do, I suggest just doing the bottom layer or your tips so that the top part will always stay healthy and shiny.

I <3 brown hair, though saying that I have brown hair myself..it’s always had loadsa different flecks of brown in it naturally though, particularly in the summer.
