I just finished dying my extensions to match my hair color and is just waiting for the color to set so I though I’d steal Rina‘s idea of what’s in her purse.

1. Make up bag
2. Random eye palette (depends what eye shadow I’m wearing that day, if any)
3. Random lipglosses, make up brushes, mascara, eye lash curler, etc. I don’t use a lot of this most days but I always have them in my purse anyway

8. Eyeliner + brow pencil = must-haves

Forgot to photograph: packet of tissue, cutips (very handy in case of make up emergencies), water bottle and my Dentyne Ice Intense. Us girls get a good workout carrying all that shit around everyday.

I don’t usually watch music videos but I just found the most beautiful music video ever! It’s a little creepy but I love the the gothic doll house concept; it reminds me the good old Are You Afraid of the Dark TV shows and it’s just plain intriguing. And you gotta admit, you just have to LOVE her hair.

I just finished re-dying my hair red (after the last stylist ruined it) and I think it still looks nice but I realized that I’m bored of all-over red hair already!!! This single-toned stuff just doesn’t satisfy me. Plus it’s so dark compared to before and probably won’t go back to my old vibrant red without bleaching so I’m ready to give up on it. Since I don’t plan to go back to the typical platinum blond streaks with dark base for a while, I figure it’s a good time to experiment with hair color… plus I don’t have an uptight job that limits what I can do with my hair!

I’m on a hunt to find an awesome colorist in Vancouver so I can get some copper/plum/white/whatever highlights (anything as long as it’s bold and funky). Well except for black because although it looks hot with red hair, I’m really reluctant to color it black since it’s so hard to color over it without bleaching (but I will if I have to). Any ideas?

• If I ever go platinum blond again, I’ll definitely have to try #1 and #2 with pink and magenta highlights! The only thing is that I’m really lazy with my hair so it will have to be low-maintenance aka no styling and hair products involved.
• #3 is kinda what I have in mind except my base color will be a pure red (but will copper highlights look good with it?!).
• I’ll try #4 right before I go back to the old ways (blond highlights).
• LOVEEEE #5… I’ll have to consult with the stylist first though to see if my hair can handle the blond right now.
• #6 is what my hair looks like now except this one is styled funky and way longer (while mine is just short and boring).

I’ll probably wait until mid-July though so I can figure out what to do with my extensions. Hehe.

Spent 2 hours in Chapters and finished a short biography while waiting for my prescription to be ready. Had to have soo much will-power today! I was lucky because the paperback version of The Last Oracle JUST arrived today too.
