In lieu of Friday’s Feast (which is getting boring), I found this interesting survey I stole from Lilian. If you’re an avid blogger, fill this out!
Here’s my mini Curve review:

PROS
- Good reception.
- Battery life is freaking GOOD! I got my phone last Monday night and have been dinking around it every day (SMS, Wi-Fi, games, music, camera, etc.) and it didn’t die until the following Monday morning.
- Love the Qwerty keyboard although I’m still getting use to it because I think my fingers are too fat. I actually got sick of text messaging on my Shine because the keypad sucked so bad.
- 26 speed dial keys!
CONS
- Blackberry has got to have to UGLIEST user interface in the world. I’ll be completely hooked on it if future models will get a facelift. An interface designer has got to have a sexy interface.
- You can’t seem to turn off the keypad tones while dialing number which is really annoying.
- Wi-Fi signal is too weak to connect to home connections unless I do it in my room where my router (and computer) is. But why would I want to do that?
- Not too fond of the calendar system/interface since it’s one of the features I use most. Might need some time getting use to.
- Camera sucks but I can easily live with that because I never use my phone camera anyway.
There are as many cons as pros but that’s because I’m picky and a devoted Nokia fan (although I haven’t owned one in a year). I CAN live with all the cons though except the UI thing. Ugh. Once you get out of the main menu, the design just goes straight downhill from there… oh well. Let’s see what future models will bring.
I’ll still give the Curve and 6.5/10.
Mochi training is coming along great! She already does her business in her pee-pad which we’ll probably move outside soon. She whimpers and stares at us with her huge, sad-looking eyes after we stop playing with her and put her back in her kennel but quickly stops and plays to her toys instead. She’s crazy, curious and adventurous. She’s tiny but after a couple of tries, she found out that she can jump on top of her crate so she can attempt a mischievous escape from her metal fence. Too bad that she made that successful attempt in front of us!
Good thing that my sister is taking care of her and training her because I’m usually not at home. If she finds a summer job then Mochi will be screwed because she’ll be stuck at home with my dad all day who likes to shine a flashlight in her face when she least expects it and gives her false hope when he turns off the light when she is trying to chase it.
But at least I know my parents secretly love her. I found out that my mom was bitten by a dog when she was young so that’s why we don’t have pets but I think she’ll be able to warm up to Mochi.
She lied to us all these years and told us they were allergic (just like how they promised to take us to Disneyland when I was 5, 7, 8, and 10 but I didn’t get to go until I was 14).
I hope to teach her the phrase “Mochi, go take a shit” soon and also teach her to hump Boyfriend’s legs when she sees him (just because it will be funny) except I don’t even know if female dogs even do that.
I originally wanted a male puppy but we ended up falling in love with Mochi. She’s sooo damn moody though and gets pissed off at you and totally ignores you if you put her back in her kennel but that’s what we get for getting a female. Oh well, she’s my 420 bitch! At least I’ll never forget the day I bought her home.
