HI THERE, IS THERE SOMETHING SPECIFIC YOU'D LIKE TO READ?

So THAT’S how it feels like…

Wow today was probably the most exciting thing that’s ever happened to me. Having ANNE RICE comment on my blog is like having Justin Timberlake comment on some teenybopper’s blog. I’ll try my best not to but I’ll probably be blogging about this for days. Can you imagine if an author you totally admire and look up to takes their time to comment on something that you did? That feeling is so amazing and especially if you love love LOVE books like I do. My heart seriously skipped a beat when I read it and I just stared into my monitor for like 10 minutes not believing it. And not to mention that I was totally distracted from work for the rest of the day!

And no, I don’t think an “imposter” would be capable of writing like that unless it was just someone whose really determined to crush my hopes! If so, I would still like to think otherwise, thank you very much.

I feel like a… teenybopper in a… ummm… Backstreet Boys concert.

But thank YOU, Anne, for making my day.

But anyway, now I have no clue on what to blog about anymore. If Anne ever stumbles back here again, my words are soo unworthy for her eyes to read.

I don’t think she’ll come back for a while even though I hope she does so I’ll try not let the pressure get to me. LOL. :P

WOW!!!!!! Lucky you!! I doubt that it’s an impostor too, since her words were clearly very sophisticated. :) I don’t think there are many ‘assholes’ out there that can write at that level. Hahaha!

I’ve only ever encountered a famous author once – Orson Scott Card. He came to visit my middle school and gave a few of us a workshop on writing. We even got to preview his book before it was published. Then we got to write a message to him, which he posted on his website (which is still online if you find hard enough). He also wrote each of us a personalized not before he left!

And thanks for the rock and republic recommendation. I’m gonna go check it out when I’m free!! (I got soooo much stuff due right now.)

    Oh wow!

I would be just as starstruck as you if that happened to me! Lucky you! I have only read one of Anne Rice’s books and I did enjoy it. I would read more but I’ve had this habit of buying 5-10 books at once knowing I don’t have enough time to read them all. One day…

I recommend The Witching Hour, Lasher and Taltos if you only had time to read a couple!
