I try to say Chuc Mung Nam Moi to Boyfriend’s parents every year but I can never remember it and usually end up saying something like “chuk num man moy.” Being Chinese is so much easier.

There are many shopping forums online where members share sale events but it got me wondering.

When there is a large sale on, would you share the sale date and location with other people? How many people are actually NOT sharing information they find about sales and just come lurking to find out about ones that others do share?

I don’t mind sharing sale information with other people and I usually do but the only exception are the more private, specialized sample sales that happens once in a blue moon (especially in Vancouver); THEN I’ll be a greedy bitch and keep this information to myself and maybe a couple close friends. I bet lots of girls do this too so I’m not ashamed to admit it. Why? For example, a designer denim private sample sale?!! If you are an obsessed freak like me, I wouldn’t be crazy enough to share this information with you especially if you are the same size as me and you know how crazy sample sales can get (for example, the Aritzia Warehouse Sale that happens every year although everyone knows about it). The only person I’d tell about these sales is my best friend because she is totally on the opposite end of the “size spectrum” as me. Just joking, I usually tell her anyway.

Have you ever had a premonition about something that came true?

Last night I had a feeling that I was going to max out my credit card again this month after I finish paying it off and today, I realized I’m totally going to. It’s sucks but it’s inevitable!!
