I can live in my closet.

What are the staples in YOUR closet?

  • Black leggings. A must.
  • A nice pair of jeans. Wait, more like 30 pairs of it. Definitely need lots of boot cuts and straight legs, some flared and wide leg and maybe a couple of skinnies (ONLY to be tucked into boots though).
  • A couple of long [black] tank top for layering. I like to wear long tops and layering, so a black tank goes with everything. I always loose them too (don’t ask), so I always stock up.
  • Beaters/tanks in every color.
  • Scarves!! I LOVEEEE SCARVES!! Every girl needs a billion of scarves in every size, shape, print possible (I only wish).
  • A black sweater … and a purple sweater … and a cream colored sweater.
  • A yellow top! Yellow is the shit and makes you look tanned (and no you won’t look like pee if you wear it).
  • Boyfriend’s clothes. Yep. That’s what I like to wear when I totally wanna bum around and his clothes are so loose and comfortable. LOL. He claims that his clothes are disappearing, but little does he know that I probably have half this wardrobe hidden somewhere in mine.
  • And a nice pair of flat black boots.

Ok… I didn’t really list staples, more like my favorite items. :)

Ahh, I have lots of jeans too but I really like skinnies right now. They’re all I wear~ :P I love scarves too! They make me feel so feminine. And boots are always a must. I don’t understand how any girl could be a tomboy when we have great things like fashion! :D

My ideal wardrobe is pretty similar to yours actually! I mean, the black tank tops are a staple for just about every outfit I wear! Same with the black leggings now that I think about it! Although the boyfriends clothes are only worn for pyjamas tee hee! I’m into gloves to match the scarves this year!! I’m hoping my winter will be a cold one so I can wear them!

Hey, your closet resembles mine! :D I swear, I have a million pairs of jeans. I love them because they’re so versatile — they go with everything and they can be comfy/casual/semi-sophisticated-looking depending on the color and style and what you pair with it. I also like scarves (I’m always cold for some reason and they keep me warm) and layering tanks. The only thing I need now is a boyfriend to steal clothes from.

I totally agree about the leggings – when I first discovered the joys of being able to pull off an outfit without wearing a skirt OR pants, I seriously wanted to throw away *all* my pants! :P Leggings alone are sooo comfortable.

Also – I love scarves too! Scarves, boots and faux fur winter jackets are the only things I look forward to when the cold weather comes around.

LOVE IT! I love my leggings. Sometimes I throw those on under my pants when I get hella cold. I’ll get back to you on what I got. Gotta go and play some video games loL!

I have a big butt so nice fitting jeans are very hard for me to find. I only have 3 that really fit me nicely. The rest just collect dust. My wardrobe is full of long tunics, short dresses and mini skirts. I wear them with skinny jeans tucked into boots during the winter. Or I wear them alone with boots in the summer. If the tunics are too short I might wear them with a matching skirt or jeans. :P

I read the first line: “Black leggings” as “Black legs” and I sat here thinking, Oh geez…this girl is sooo odd… Too bad I’m an idiot. Hehe, but yes, black leggings are a must. I don’t wear them as much though. Too cold! *shivers*

    You have a great blog!

I don’t usually do layers, but tanks&beaters are my #1 must.

OMG I totally love to have my boyfriends clothes in my closet. Now, since I’m living at home for a short time (ugh, it’s almost been a year! I gotta get out of here!), I love having his clothes to wear when I want to be lazy. Usually, though, we live together and our closets are right next to eachother.

i agree with just about everything from your must-haves. OMG I love yellow too! But since my job allows for absolutely no colored clothing, I haven’t bought anything other than black for more than 6 months. :(
