Black Order (James Rollins); If you LOVE suspense and is a Dan Brown fan, you would LOVE James Rollins. I haven’t read a book that kept me on the edge of my seat like this for a long time. This book basically ties fiction with historical facts, the Nazi, Darwin and evolution; trying to create the perfect Aryan race and is filled with murder, assassins and just plain suspense! It’s kind of a slow start, like most novels but once you get a few chapters in you’ll be hooked. You can read a synopsis here and order it here.
I’m reading Ice Hunt also by James Rollins. I’m going to order the rest of his books tomorrow. I can’t wait!
I think the biggest problem with most books is that the beginning is so slow and boring that people usually just give up reading and end up missing out on a good read. For example with The Lives of the Mayfair Witches (Anne Rice), I stopped reading it for a while and continued and this ended up being one of my favorites books (300% better than James Rollins and maybe even Harry Potter). I’ve read the trilogy 4 times already.
