On the Bill Good Show this morning (News Talk 980), one of the topics was banning smoking on outdoor patios. I say go for it. I don’t support smoking AT ALL and I think it’s stupid and disgusting. First of all, smoking is fucking bad for you so no one should be doing it anyway and secondly, second-hand smoke is plain nasty. A good point was given; since smokers are usually out on the patio, what about non-smokers? What if they wanted to go out and sit in the fresh air but don’t want to breathe in nasty cigarettes? Cigarettes are nasty and kills 5 times more than all other causes of death combined. I realize it’s hard for people addicted to it to stop, but most of them don’t even try– if smoking makes you feel good and takes your stress away; that is seriously the oldest and lamest excuse in the book because there are a million other ways to relieve stress. There is no excuse for anyone to quit smoking (or at least try to) .
Since we’re on the topic of smoking, lets talk about people who smoke “socially” (to look “cool”). Eg. When they are out in the smoke pit where everyone else around them are smoking and they only do it just because of that. Actually, I don’t have much to say, but I think you guys are all fucking idiots and I hope you all get lung cancer for being try-hards. I don’t have sympathy for idiots.

I had a question about your Amazon purchase (Victoria Beckham). Did you have to wait long for the book? Because I called chapters and they said if I ordered it online then id be getting it around Oct since thats when she releases her book. I dont know if Amazons following that same trend so I thought id ask you about it. Thanks.

I would LOVE IT if they banned smoking on outdoor patios here! I’m not a fan of smoking, I hate being around smokers and I hate walking behind someone while they’re smoking. I’ll hold my breathe and pass them as fast as I can.

Really? I had called Chapters and asked them about it. Apparently its coming out at the end of October this year?! Thats odd. I thought it was new? Its old?! Well.. Ive been reading the wrong magazines then. Thanks!
