REUNION

Friends & Family

Today was sooo freaking priceless. I was waiting for RINA to blog so I can just copy & paste off her Xanga but I guess she might not. Lol.

Two weeks ago, I told the girls that I had something really really important to tell them so I planned a dinner on March 29th and they all HAD to show up since it was THAT important. So anyway, they all thought Trieu and I were getting married and some of them even told their mothers the big news.

First, Amy (who accidentally found out when Rina called her because she thought she wasn’t coming) and I took her to Timmy Hoes to visit Marie because she couldn’t get off work. She drove through the drive-thru in a black scarf wrapped around her head and huge shades and ordered a “bagel” in a really thick Filipino FOB accent then we drove up to the window where an irritated Marie just stared at her best friend in disgust wondering why the fuck Trieu was dressed up as a woman. Then Rina had to take EVERYTHING off and reveal herself and the look on Marie’s face when she realized it was her was priceless. :)

Later, I went to the restaurant (I told them Trieu was coming in bit since he was still at work) with a huge ass fake diamond ring and showed them (”holy shit that’s huge!“)… and then after the screaming and congratulations RINA walks in with a scarf and shades and then MORE screaming (the server had to tell us to shut up).

A couple minutes later after everyone settled down when Amy insisted that we order, Rose goes, “What about Trieu! Don’t we have to wait for him?” then she gets all confused and keeps on going.. “aren’t you guys getting married!” :) Lol. She’s so cute.. the blond is getting to her. After we went to Zephyr in the Sky for drinks while she entertained us with her usual self. Picked up Marie, dropped Amy off in Surrey, then went back to Richmond to the memorial and the girls lit one up for Lisa.

Haha well the last two weeks was so hard… not being able to tell the girls that Rina was coming back because it was suppose to be a huge surprise. Rina’s reason on why I was “priviledged” to know was because I was the “second-tallest” in the group (she is kinda delusional and thinks she is taller than me because we use to be the same height in grade 8 ). But the real reason was because we use to talk about what would happen when she comes back and all our plans included the Scooby-doo van like Rina hiding in the back while I stuff 11 girls in there, Liquid Blue would start playing and she would pop up and do the infamous XTC dance. Our cue for her to pop up was when I said Emily, a duck is watching you! But when she did come back we had to tone down our surprise because our ideas were always impossible. But it was good because everyone WAS surprised.

Anyway, guess who got straight A’s for the winter semester!! I had to brag because I know I worked hard last quarter (harder than I ever worked in elementary and highschool). Hehe. And WTH, on my schedule online it says I have a night class on Wednesday nights!!! :@ I was so happy because the first unofficial schedule I got had no night classes. :( I can’t even sleep over at Trieu’s after because I don’t have a morning class on Thursday.

Time to get CRUNK on Saturday. :drunk:

I love fat sex

Humor, Ramblings

“Fat sex is the hottest sex we’ve ever had! There were so many boobs I didn’t know which boobs I was grabbing; your boobs or mine!”

The Only Debate on Intelligent Design That is Worthy of its Subject; interesting and humorous read. Please don’t be offended… I couldn’t help it. :)

I finally got the 200 pics I ordered online and it cost me $20. But I have another 500 to develope. I have doubles of my first order too except they aren’t matted. I also uploaded all my high res photos onto my account, so I’ll give you girls the account login information so you guys can order which ever pictures you want.

3 more days, baby! Girls, I think it will be 730 at Richmond Sushi … but then Mer suggested wings, so maybe Earls or Fog N’ Suds? Ahh look what you did Mer!!! FOOD DILEMMA. :@ :*(

UPDATE [03/29/06] 730pm at Earl’s (Lansdowne) * We haven’t been there since last spring break!!

Anyway, I was going to sleep early tonight since I was also thinking of waking up early to get some Mcdix breakfast since I’m craving for it. I was lying in bed all day because I think I got a mild case of food poisoning or something from last night. I could barely eat my dinner then afterwards the sick feeling disappeared and all I could think about was food. Haha.

Capital sucked (without alcohol)!

I found this picture of Trieu’s nephew sitting on him. 8) Aww.

I noticed my archives menu doesn’t work. I will fix that later (and also my blog titles which I still haven’t fixed). I made a new layout for d360 (portfolio) and I will put that up too sometime in the week. One more week left of this “break.” :( I feel semi-accomplished.

I finally got to reading The Five People You Meet in Heaven (Mitch Alborn) while waiting for Nat to get her hair done (I got a cut too … my hair is so damn short and I look like a honger!! :@ ); it’s been sitting on my bookshelf for a long time. I can’t believe I just read it too when it came out so long ago. It’s so touching and makes you appreciate the people around you and how other people’s lives have touched you. I can’t stress how powerful it is! I won’t ruin it but these are one of those books EVERYONE should read and it’s a small book with easy vocabulary for the lazy readers …so if you haven’t… go read it!! :D Because I’m gonna go re-read it now.

(from the book jacket)

From the author of the number one New York Times bestseller Tuesdays with Morrie comes this long-awaited follow-up, an enchanting, beautifully crafted novel that explores a mystery only heaven can unfold.

Eddie is a grizzled war veteran who feels trapped in a meaningless life of fixing rides at a seaside amusement park. As the park has changed over the years — from the Loop-the-Loop to the Pipeline Plunge — so, too, has Eddie changed, from optimistic youth to embittered old age. His days are a dull routine of work, loneliness, and regret.

Then, on his 83rd birthday, Eddie dies in a tragic accident, trying to save a little girl from a falling cart. With his final breath, he feels two small hands in his — and then nothing. He awakens in the afterlife, where he learns that heaven is not a lush Garden of Eden, but a place where your earthly life is explained to you by five people who were in it. These people may have been loved ones or distant strangers. Yet each of them changed your path forever.

One by one, Eddie’s five people illuminate the unseen connections of his earthly life. As the story builds to its stunning conclusion, Eddie desperately seeks redemption in the still-unknown last act of his life: Was it a heroic success or a devastating failure? The answer, which comes from the most unlikely of sources, is as inspirational as a glimpse of heaven itself.

In The Five People You Meet in Heaven, Mitch Albom gives us an astoundingly original story that will change everything you’ve ever thought about the afterlife — and the meaning of our lives here on earth. With a timeless tale, appealing to all, this is a book that readers of fine fiction, and those who loved Tuesdays with Morrie, will treasure.
