Capital punishment is so cold and cruel. To be executed for murdering/raping women and children is one thing but it’s too extreme to be a consequence of drug trafficking! The law is the law but we have rapists and murderers running around everywhere while Singapore is hanging people mostly for drug trafficking. He wasn’t even trafficking in Singapore… he was just in transit. The Australian government should have the right to sentence him, not Singapore. He was young and made the biggest mistake of his life but he still deserved a chance to live.
What would the world be if we can’t get a second chance for one mistake we made in our lives?
Sure it might be safer but I sure as hell wouldn’t wanna live in that world.
